Wettenberg, 17 January 2023. The Supervisory Board of PVA TePla AG has appointed Jalin Ketter (37) as Speaker of the Management Board. As acting Chief Financial Officer she assumed this position in June 2020 and has since played a key role in shaping the successful further development of the technology company. Her contract was extended until mid-2028.
Acting CEO Manfred Bender is leaving PVA TePla on 30 June 2023 by mutual agreement for personal reasons a few months before the regular expiry of his contract.
The Supervisory Board thanks CEO Manfred Bender for his commitment over the past two years. "During the time he has been a member of the Management Board since the beginning of 2021, PVA TePla has developed successfully, to which Manfred Bender has contributed significantly," says Alexander von Witzleben, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PVA TePla AG. Manfred Bender will support the smooth transition of his duties until he leaves.
"With Jalin Ketter, we already have the ideal person to fill the position of the Speaker of the Management Board on-site. She has not only excellently fulfilled her role as CFO but has also decisively shaped the course of the company with her expertise and driven its modernization. We are therefore entrusting her with the task of Speaker of the Management Board and the strategic further development of the company with full confidence," explains Alexander von Witzleben, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PVA TePla AG.
Jalin Ketter joined PVA TePla AG in 2015 and, as a qualified tax advisor and accountant, initially took over as Head of Finance. In June 2020, the Supervisory Board appointed her as a member of the Group's Management Board.
"I am looking forward to my new role within the Executive Board. We will continue to push modern corporate management for PVA TePla Group and thus position ourselves optimally for the future. Trends such as digitalization, e-mobility and the energy transition offer us a lot of potential for our wide technological know-how and the use of our innovative solutions," reports Jalin Ketter. In her new position as board spokeswoman, she is also a pioneer in a German technology company.
